Carl our head technician has had over 25 years’ experience dealing with Classic, Sports & Prestige cars. At Outwood Classic we are able to carry out all your requirements from standard servicing to full engine rebuilds. We are also known as one of the leading Specialists for Holden, Vauxhall VXR-8 and Monaro Supercars.
The Team
Owner managed and run
- Julian Hek is classic car specialist with a wide range of expertise. From running Ferrari, Aston Martin and Maserati dealerships, he is the owner manager of Outwood Classic & Outwood Cars
- Carl Herkes chief technician. He did his apprenticeship with Maserati and subsequentially has gone onto work with Mercedes Benz, VW and Honda.
Carl is also one of the UK’s foremost authorities on HSV, Holden & VXR vehicles.

The Perfect conditions for Long Term Car Storage
Our facility is de-humidified and heated, which offers your car the equivalent of a 5 star hotel stay !! We strongly suggest against using car covers as the slightest movement causes light scratching. All the vehicles at our facility are kept clean and dust free. Battery trickle charges are kept in use and these are rotated on a regular basis.
